We’ve been shopping.  Which can only mean good things for you, our worthy customers.  We hit an estate sale this weekend and picked up some very cool finds.  I gained such an appreciation for the man who once owned these things.  There was so much awesome stuff there, not all of it applicable to Gauche Alchemy, but definitely some eye candy.  Expect to see these in upcoming kits; for now, just drool.

Oh!  Also wanted to let you know that we plan to have some smaller kits up on the Etsy shop before the end of the month – perhaps kits that are entirely ephemera.  What do you think of that?

We are also working on next month’s kit.  It’s going to be something based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe – just in time for Halloween, but not specifically a Halloween kit (meaning, you can use it for other projects, as well).  Let me tell you, we’ve got some FUN stuff planned for this one!

On to the pics – of course, this is only a fraction of what we scored:

OMG!  Look at all those rusty knobs!  (Rusty knobs?  That sounds kinda dirty…)

And that filmstrip… that’s been on my “must have” list for a while…

Game pieces from the 40’s, antique hardware, vintage matchbooks (mostly unstruck, too, if that suits your fancy), old-fashioned yardstick, foreign money, comic books featuring tarty chicks… *sigh*  I’m a happy girl.
