Moms for Mams: Protect the Girls

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and in honor of this, we are offering a special limited-edition kit. There are only 10 of these beauties, so send an e-mail to gauchealchemy at cox dot net if you’d like to reserve one – they will go up on Etsy within the next couple of days.

Also – GUEST DESIGNER WANNABEs take note – we will be sending a kit to one lucky “Designer-At-Large” in exchange for a layout or project that we can post as inspiration (and, of course, promoting us on your blog or any other way you can think of!). To apply, simply comment on this post with a link to your blog and/or gallery. We will make a decision by WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 22.

This kit would normally retail for $37, but you get it for $24.95 – and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Can’t beat that – a great price, and a contribution to breast cancer research.

What you get:
– our signature ephemera and found objects: one full-color vintage magazine page and one black-and-white magazine page, a page from a vintage etiquette book, a 2-page spread from a mini street-guide booklet, 2-3 pieces of costume jewelry findings
– fabric and fibers: 12″ of American Crafts pink velvet ric-rac ribbon, 1 yard of pink Bazzil pom-pom fiber, small piece of pink tulle
– embellishments: Heidi Swapp pink glossy chipboard dots, 5 yards (1 yard each of 5 designs) of Heidi Swapp decorative tape, 1 each of 4 different 7 gypsies pink buckles (square, rectangle, oval, circle), Queen & Co. Think Pink bold sequins, Provo Craft Rob and Bob Studios pink Gelly-O frames, Paper Bliss Timeless Elements pink aluminum alpha stickers (the photo just doesn’t do these justice – they are so gorgeous!)
– Papers: Daisy D’s 12×12 pink vintage pattern paper, 12×12 Tinkering Ink double-sided paper, and a sheet of 8.5×11″ Bazzil cardstock in Rosey
