CHA this week: Craft and Hobby Association convention

As many of you are aware, this week is the CHA convention in Anaheim, California.

What that means:

First of all, it means there are tons of delicious new products being released now through the next few weeks!
Secondly, it means that most of the manufacturers of said products are doing giveaways to promote their new products. WHEE!!

Let us know if you see anything you just adore – we’ll try to include it in an upcoming kit!

I personally won about 3 prizes last time CHA came around – there are just a LOT of giveaways to get involved in. Below are links to manufacturers’ blogs. I’m not choosing favorites – just whichever I’ve been able to find. Put these in your feed reader (Google Reader is a great – and free – one!) and comment, comment, comment! Let us know if you won something!

Make sure you scroll down and look at the most recent entries – lots of stuff has already been posted.
AdornIt! – scroll down for a giveway; comment on your favorite new line for a chance to win.
American Crafts – loads of new lines
Art Declassified – red rubber stamps with wonderful vintage images
BamPop! – they don’t update often, and it looks like they don’t have any CHA-related stuff going on, but I adore their whimsical graphic designs too much to not link to them!
BananaFrog stamps – the illustrious Julie Kirk is on their design team (as well as ours)!
BoBunny – looks like they’ve already finished one giveaway, but maybe there will be more. In any case, you can go look at their new releases.
Chatterbox – the great “changes” layout by Jill Cruz is reason enough to go take a look. Also, check out Melody Ross’ blog for more Chatterbox yummies. She’ll also be posting from CHA.
Christine Adolph Designs – this is some really dreamy product – and some great inspiration on her blog.
College Press
Cosmo Cricket – one my very favorite blogs! A successful company with rockin’ products – but they behave as if they are your next-door neighbor. Delightful videos, loads of giveaways (even when it’s not CHA time!). Julie is so much fun, and she’ll be posting from CHA.
Crafty Secrets – one of my absolute fav manufacturers. All their lines are vintage designs – stamps, fabric, paper… gotta check them out if you haven’t already. They have a contest going on, too.
Creative Cafe – they will be doing giveaways all week, posting from CHA.
Creative Imaginations – there are a couple of new Karen Foster Narratives lines – to die for! Gotta check it out.
Dream Street Papers – Huge giveaway just posted – comment with ideas for future product lines, and you could win all SIX new lines.
Fancy Pants – giveaway posted! Comment before 1/28 at midnight to be eligible for a prize! (US only)
Fiskars – includes Cloud 9, Lil Davis Designs, Kimberly Poloson, Heidi Grace Designs – unsure of what they are doing for CHA, but they regularly have giveaways and contests
Flair Designs – sneaks posted.
Tattered Angels – makers of Glimmer Mist
Glitz – cute stuff!
Graphic 45 – one of my all-time favorite manufacturers – their vintage style is just gorgeous! We will definitely be putting some of their products in our upcoming kits!
7 Gypsies – another favorite – always great stuff. They will be posting from CHA. Gotta take a look at their sneaks!
Hambly Screenprints – another absolute fav! Check out their new stuff!
Heidi Swapp – Heidi has had a LOT of innovative ideas for basic supplies. How can you not like that?
Jenni Bowlin Studio – I am very excited about her new stuff! The button cards … be still my heart! Oh, and milk pog buttons?! SWWWEEEETTT! This is newly manufactured stuff that looks like our vintage finds.
KI Memories – KI was the first manufacturer to bring us lace cardstock – and they have some really nice transparencies and other products, as well.
Luxe Designs

Okay, that’s enough to get you started – more tomorrow.
