Tips for the Design Team Curious, by Julie Kirk

For those not in the know, Julie Kirk is one of our first designers and former Design Team Captain here at Gauche Alchemy.  She is an endless source of quirky inspiration, and if you’re not familiar with her blog and her work, you should correct that without further delay.

In a perfect-timing turn of events, it appears that Julie decided to host a series on design teams on her blog, just in time for our very own DT call.  Read all about it, from how to assess your interests and availability to preparing your application to learning new skills and upping your creative game.  It’s good stuff, I tell you.  Not that it’s a big surprise, coming from Julie.  Of course.  🙂

Julie is a DT veteran.  She’s got some good advice.  Whether you’re looking to increase your chances in our DT call or get into the design team bidness any which way you can, read up.  Thanks, Julie, for this great public service.  🙂

  1. Thanks Amy – and for all your amazing comments on the posts!

I feel like we’re two old ladies sat on the front porch nostalgically reminiscing ‘Hey, do you remember that time I made a page about a toilet?’ ‘Yeah, you remember that time we proclaimed to the blog world that we’d marry you if we could?’ ‘Yeah – how can I forget!’

    Ahhh those were the days!

    Thanks for this, so much.

May you find the gauchest of the gauche for the team.

    Julie x
