Michelle here to show you a couple of wonderful scrapbook page projects by scrap whiz Yvonne Yam.
The first page up is The Negotiator” and it’s about how Yvonne taught her older nephew (aged 6) to negotiate toy sharing with his younger brother (age 4). I think that’s an achievement all on it’s own!
I love the details like the alphas over the reflector (just one of the many items that may jump out of the Scarlet Fever Mixed Media Color Kit), the Punchinella and the parachuting robot fussy cutting on the upper right- that’s what separates Yvonne from the rest the pack- attention to detail.
The second project is “You Are Amazing Sometimes”. Yvonne used Punchinella and orange pom pom trim and blue lace from the Lace Ribbon variety pack quite effectively to give just a touch of texture to a clean and modern boy themed layout.
Yvonne explains: My nephews stopped to pose for a photo for me while running amok in the shoe section of the departmental store. Nephews and shoe-shopping do not go well together.
Indeed they don’t, but we scrapbookers sure know a photo-op when we see one!
And there you have it 2 pages that show you that YES you really can incorporate Gauche products into modern design and have the page come out natural and FABULOUS! Check it – here are some of the products you can have for your very own that Yvonne used on these pages: punchinella, lace, mixed media color kits, Monstrous Mutant Robots from Outer Space kit, and Acme kits!
