Robots Need Pencils

Hi everyone! Maggi here to show off the last project from this month’s guest designer, July! She made this altered pencil holder using our new kit, Monstrous Mutant Robots from Outer Space (hey, even robots need pencils!):

After applying 3 layers of Gesso, July collaged the tin using the kit’s book pages (one of my favorite things to collage with!)

She adhered the orange and blue robots and then collaged again with patterned papers. After painting it with dark blue and red acrylic paints, she embellished with robot and spaceship brads from the kit.

Added dots using Stickles and randomly drawn circles/swirls using liquid paper (genius!) and ta da! A snazzy new pencil holder!

We’d like to thank July for being October’s guest designer and playing with our Monstrous Mutant Robots from Outer Space Kit! This kit is currently available in the Gauche Alchemy store so go get yours!

And don’t forget to go glue something awesome onto some awesome something!

Maggi 😀
