More gauche Mama’s!

Kas:

I started with the Chipboard “suitcase” I purchased at Ross in the clearance center. It had a scrapbooking kit inside, but I didn’t even care about that…this was so cool for $2.49. The closure needed to be repaired…woop dee doo!

I covered the top with a wall paper sample from the Wholly Sheets set.
The added a picture of my mother as a baby, my grandmother and great-grandmother.

I made a flower out of Ouchless Cardboard forcing my EK success punch to do the work. I added yellow tulle and a milk top from the Banana Hammock kit.

I used the seed packet that was also from the Banana Hammock kit, filled with more yellow tulle and then added pink flowers from the Pink Parts kit.
I used Distressing ink on the the picture, the papers and the ouchless cardboard flowers.

I am going to use the cool sewing pattern paper that my Gauche Alchemy kits were wrapped in to decoupage the sides of the suitcase.

The finished project is going to hold a memory book of pictures of these women. Although I don’t have a lot of pictures of them, I wanted them to have a special place to be housed.

I used bits from the yellow, green and bit kits. The photo is of my mother in the 70s.
