Free As A Bird, now….

Last month we challenged you dear readers to use game pieces to create a project but we neglected to announce the winner … until NOW!
Ms. Joyce – come on down!!! We love your door hanging and continued enthusiasm with all things Gauche! We will be in touch with you so you can receive your winning prize!

Oddly enough … Joyce’s project preludes our July challenge quite nicely!
Joyce used a quote from James Dent:
“A perfect summer day is when the sun is shinning, the breeze is blowing, the birds are singing, and the mower is broken”

Indeed … the birds are singing!

This months Monthly Challenge is also all about freedom – some might say, being “free as a bird”
Here is how some of our Gauche Alchemy Design Team interpreted it:

Yvonne made this super awesome hanging using copious amounts of different Artfire Store color kit bits:

Erika used pieces from the following kits
Envy Green Kit
It’s All Gravy Baby! Brown Kit
Scarlet Fever Red Kit
Punchinella – Tip- To create a great textural effect, paint piece with crackle paint, while paint is wet, push punchinella into and let dry. Once dry, remove punchinella.
Winged Things- ATC Paper Pack

Kas’ Americana project uses chipboard as the backer. It’s sprayed it with Red Velvet Glimmer Mist and a little Patina. Multicolored Punchinella and items from the Banana Hammock Yellow Kit, Scarlet Fever Red Kit, Winter Slush Blue Kit, and Wedding Night White Kit to embellish it.
The 4th of July stamp is a digi stamp from Bombshell stamps. The sailor is from “Ahoy Sailor” set at Bombshell Stamps.

Stay tuned for more eye candy later this week but in the meantime once your fabulous creation is created and posted to your blog or Flickr account, come back here and make sure to leave a direct link to your project IN THIS POST by midnight on Sunday, June 25th. The winner will received a $10.00 gift certificate to our STORE.

Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
