How’s About Some Punch?

Hey y’all!  Maggi here with another awesome Theme Day brought to you by the letter P, the number 1 and our amazing Gauche Alchemy Design Team! 😀

But first we have some business to attend to…

The winner of our Pasticcio giveaway never claimed their prize so in all fairness we have randomly drawn a new winner! Congrats to Kristie Taylor! Please e-mail us ASAP at: gauchealchemy at cox dot net!

The fabulous Sarah Fishburn is having a book giveaway on her blog, go check it out and enter to win!

And our own DT member Kas has had a card published in the May/June issue of Scrap N’ Art magazine! Way to go Kas!!!

This month our theme is all about Punchinella!  I remember getting my first piece of punchinella (or sequin waste as some call it) and was a little mystified.  I had no idea what to do with it, how to use it or even how to attach it to anything.  Punchinella is a pretty regular feature in my creations these days and it figures in our DT’s creations as well…Check out these fabulous projects:

Yvonne made this pretty altered tea tin using punchinella and our Banana Hammock Mixed Media Color Kit:

Kas made these fun earrings, what a great idea!

Lara created this awesome layout prompted by Dirty Scraps:

Check out this fantastic punchinella stenciling by Andrea:

I made this layout for a mini album I made about my favorite biographies:

Erika rocked it out with this fun card:

Angela created this fantastic layout:

Do you like to use Punchinella in your projects? We’d love to see them so make sure to leave a comment with your blog link so we can take a peek or upload them to our Gauche Alchemy Flickr group!

Don’t forget that the deadline for this month’s challenge: Mixed Media Mamas has been extended to midnight this Sunday, 5/30 so you still have time to get those entries in!

Now go glue something awesome onto some awesome something! 😀

pause, bleep…pause- I just copied and pasted what Lara said!
I still have a lot of my original white punchinella because I hoarded it because I could never find any and when I did I thought I better keep some of it! When does something like punchinella become vintage?

I’m still waiting to take a bloomin’ picture of my Mother project…I’ll just take one and if it doesn’t show up well I can always take another one on a better picture day.
